Hunter, Tundra and our house guest Rusty playing ball
in the yard. Rusty is my Mother in law's dog, visiting for a week
while his Mom was away on vacation.
Hunter is starting to get a
stripe of adult type hair down the
middle of his back now. It's a mix of brown and black and it's
really wavy. I've been told by other Shiloh owners that it's normal
and it will straighten out eventually, that the hair will get coarser
and longer, as he matures. He kinda looks like he's got a
perpetual 'bad hair day' right now. :-)
He's also
teething now too. He's lost 8 puppy teeth already,
but he's not acting up or chewing on things. He's just his regular
mellow, happy self. The only thing I've noticed is that he seems
to be drooling a little bit, which is something he never usually does.
Hunter and Kodiak. My little puppy isn't so little anymore!
He went back to the vet on 2/2/02 for his checkup and shots
and weighed in at 54.8 lbs. He turned 4 months old on 1/25/02.
He's got a relaxed, confident air about him already. I can't wait to
see what he looks like as an adult!
Just relaxing and watching what's going
on. Hunter will sit for
long time periods just watching what is going on around him.
He's much more reserved and in control of himself, and aware
of his surroundings, than any other puppy I've ever had.
Woof ! ! !
Kodiak,
Hunter and Tundra wait for me to put their food bowls down.
They stay in the living room until they get the ok, then they are allowed
to come into the kitchen and go to their own bowls. It's gotten to be a
game,
they all jump up and race for their places as soon as we say it's ok.
